Siberian Sturgeon Caviar
Siberian Sturgeon (Acipenser baeri) is present in the major Siberian River basins that drain northwards into the Kara, Laptev, and East Siberian Seas. The Siberian Sturgeon can live to 60 years and weigh on average about 150lbs. The colour of the caviar ranges from deep mahogany to jet black with a glistening appearance and the roe is of medium size in the range of 2.5 to 2.7 mm diameter with a slightly firm structure. The caviar has a distinct "nutty" flavor with a clean taste of the sea.
Our Siberian Sturgeon Caviar is packed in tins of size 50g and 125g. The shelf life is between 30 to 45 days when properly stored and refrigerated between -2°C to +2°C but should be consumed within a few days after opening.
