Caviar can be served on store-bought or home made blinis and the flavours complemented by a variety of ingredients. 

Crème fraiche is often used as a base for the caviar and toppings can range from finely chopped red onion, finely chopped boiled egg white, chopped egg yolk to curly parsley and other fresh herb or salad leaves.
